The 7th Annual Celebrate Centennial Under the Stars event is scheduled for Saturday, August 11 at Centennial’s new Centennial Center Park!

The City of Centennial is hosting this family event including a visit from the Radio Disney Road Crew, food trucks, activities and entertainment for all ages, face painting, balloon sculptors, environmental education, interactive outdoor games, bouncy castle, South Suburban Kid’s Fitness Van, live music provided by the 17th Avenue All Stars, Adam Rey, Atomic Brass Project and Opie Gone Bad. Please bring non-perishable food items to help support the Colorado Cares Day Summer Food Drive.

This all-day outdoor festival starts at 12 p.m., with the movie, We Bought a Zoo beginning at sunset. Centennial Center Park is located at 13050 E. Peakview Ave. (adjacent to the Centennial Civic Center).
Families are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets for movie watching for this free community event.

“We are very excited about the 7th Annual Celebrate Centennial Under the Stars event in conjunction with the grand opening of Centennial Center Park,” says Mayor Cathy Noon. “This is the first of many community celebrations in our beautiful new Park. We are proud of Centennial Center Park’s success and look forward to bringing families together at the ‘heart’ of Centennial. ”

Please use the designated parking lots identified in the parking map. Handicap parking will be located in the Centennial Civic Center.
