We install garage doors every day and when we leave they work! Beautifully! (in this case the door did work perfectly after the install, The opener that was 11 years old had a bad gear. We carry the part, but opener repair does not come with a door install and the work needed to be approved. Since this was a property management company there was some delay on getting the approval for the repair of the opener. Again, nothing to do with the installation of the Garage door. The Garage Door Worked fine when we left.) 2. We have never had an incomplete " done for now" job for longer than 24hrs. ( We were contracted to install a garage door. We actually post on our website removing the LED bulbs could be a solution to improve range for frequency interference this was common 15 years ago and less common now. However, if range for the remote transmitter is the symptom then Usually its one of the first resolutions we offer... in fact usually even before a tech is booked. I have spoken to the technician he said this was NOT A FREQUENCY issue. So it weird that changing your LED fixed it i don't know, it's definitely frustrating for me so I'm sure you are frustrated as well. Anyway, I will continue to look into this further and we will make sure to discuss it at the meeting and with the techs individually about how important it is to correctly diagnose problems. We developed a reputation of being honest value focused and affordable. WHILE it's unclear to me that changing the LED lights was the fix I agree that it Is probably a mistake in diagnosis.
