Garage door openers if installed correctly and on a garage door that is installed correctly will work for a long time. Failure to maintenance your garage door will cause the garage door opener to fail. Electronics can be overloaded by forces of nature, surges, and occurrences. This electrical surge can cause your opener to fail and require new parts. Although we offer circuit board replacement, we do not recommend new electrical parts as a repair.

Mechanical parts such as LiftMaster, chamberlain, and craftsman gear and sprockets and genie trolleys can be replaced with confidence and even carry a better warranty than the manufacturer warranty if installed on a garage door that is working properly. We offer these repairs as well, however, we do not recommend them over a new opener.
